Butchery robbed in Alexandra Street
Cash and airtime vouchers were stolen during the robbery
A robbery took place this morning (November 11) at a butchery in Alexandra Street.
Just after 8am, six men entered the butchery and one of them held the security guard at gunpoint.
The other men forced staff into the cold room, where they were assaulted and robbed of their personal belongings. Cash and airtime vouchers were stolen during the robbery.
Police are investigating a case of business robbery and have launched a manhunt for the suspects.
