Did you know this man?

Tests were conducted on the remains and it was established that they belonged to a male of approximately 50-years in age

During the latter part of June 2014 the skeletal remains of a human were found in a field close to the Narrowtex.

The remains had been extensively burnt and were discovered after a veldt fire that exposed them to view. Police forensic experts were called in and the area was searched for evidence. The remains were collected for further investigation.

Tests were conducted on the remains and it was established that they belonged to a male of approximately 50-years in age. The police Victim Identification Section in Pretoria was tasked to compile a facial reconstruction of what the deceased may have looked like.

Police would like to give closure to a family and are urging the community to try and recall if anyone they knew, who may have gone missing in 2014, looked similar to the person in the photo.
