Update: No bomb has exploded

Scenes of chaos followed a bomb threat at the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court this morning.

While some thought it was a joke, others took it seriously and the court has been evacuated, including prisoners.

K9 officers are still busy with a sweep of the building, while waiting for the bomb squad to arrive from Newcastle.
