UPDATE: R103 cleared, protestors disperse
The residents were advised that a meeting with the Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality would be facilitated by Wednesday
The protest action, which saw the R103 being closed earlier this morning has been resolved…for now.

That’s the word from municipal and government officials who met with the disgruntled protestors earlier today.
Members from the MECs office as well as Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) councillors met with the residents along the roadside to listen to their concerns.
IFP councillor Mthembeni Majola says that the protestors are angry because the electrification project has stopped in the area.
The residents were advised that a meeting with the Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality would be facilitated by Wednesday.
They were pleased with this and dispersed.
