Taxis stopping in the middle of the road endanger other motorists
A letter received from a concerned Citizen highlights the dangers of Taxi Drivers stopping in the middle of the road to motorists and pedestrians.

A concerned motorist writes:
I am worried about the T-junction at the new filling station just outside of town.
I noticed over the past two weeks that there are A LOT of taxis standing at the T-junction (in the road) and it makes it very difficult to see passing vehicles.
There were a few times that some of the vehicles had to STOP in the middle of the road because the motorists could not see anything from the side. It makes it very dangerous.
The taxi drivers are just sitting in their taxis at the back (they open the boot). I do not have a clue what they do there, but this is getting really out of hand now.
At a stage, when I drove past them, there were six taxis standing there and the drivers were chatting to each other. I drive that road EVERY day and I see them there every day.
I do not know if some one can get the Road Traffic Department involved?
