Ladysmith police are appealing to the public to help them trace and identify a man they believe can help them solve an attempted robbery case.
On November 22, the owner of a business in Kandahar Avenue was accosted by three men armed with knives and a firearm.
The businessman managed to engage security features at the shop which effectively stopped the robbery from happening. The suspects then fled.
Ladysmith detectives are eager to interview the man depicted in the attached image.
He is described as being in his early 30s. He has a dark complexion, a slender build and is short. He wears short dreadlocks.
Anyone with information as to his whereabouts or anyone who may know his identity is requested to contact Sergeant Warmenhoven on 0366383415 or 0366383348 during office hours.
