Top spot for best performing Amajuba District
The Newcastle Advertiser would like to congratulate the Amajuba Education District and all the learners who made this proud moment possible.
NEWCASTLE – The Amajuba District has a good story to tell as they dominate the number one spot on the KwaZulu-Natal’s top performing district.
The province’s education MEC, Mthandeni Dlungwana, praised the district for the major achievement.

In 2015 Amajuba occupied the number eight place with 58, 75% pass rate out of 12 districts.
In 2016, the district achieved their most notable improvement yet, landing Amajuba district in the coveted top spot.
