According to an official police report received this morning, one of the five foreign national fugitives, who escaped yesterday, is still on the run
Yesterday, January 12 the Department of Home Affairs deported eight illegal immigrants back to their place of origin when five escaped from the bakkie through a window along the N3.
The immigrants were being deported from Durban to Krugersdorp at the time.
“The four that have been found have been re-arrested for escaping from lawful custody and the escape will be investigated by Howick detectives,” said police spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbele.
