3 suspects answer to stock theft charges

Police make 3 arrests after cattle and a calf are stolen

Three men are due to answer to charges of stock theft after being arrested.

Between January 8 and 14, three cattle went missing from Ebhoweni farm in the Van Reenen area.

A police investigation revealed that two men, aged 36 and 42, were responsible for the theft. They are in police custody and are due to appear in court later this week.

In another incident, a calf was stolen from Hongerspoort farm in the Bergville area. A 28-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with the theft.

He is due to appear in the Bergville Magistrate’s Court soon.

They all face charges of stock theft.
