Three arrested for dagga possession

Police discovered 16.77kg of dagga with an estimated street value of around R16 000

Dagga to the value of R16 000 was recovered from a home in the Makekeni location in Loskop.

Visible Policing members were on patrol duties on Sunday when they received information about dagga at a home.

“They swiftly followed up on the information and searched the homestead. During the operation they discovered 16.77kg of dagga with an estimated street value of around R16 000,” commented police spokesperson Captain Charmaine Struwig.

Three suspects, aged 31, 34 and 41, were promptly arrested and appeared in the Estcourt Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
