2 vehicles collide near Ladysmith Indoor Sports Complex
One person was treated by Sharaj Ambulance Services and then taken to hospital
A Toyota Corolla and a bakkie crashed late Thursday night (January 26) near the Indoor Sports Complex.
The vehicles were travelling in opposite directions when the collision took place near the stadium bend. The bakkie ended up completely off the road and the Corolla, which was badly damaged, ended up blocking one lane.
One person was attended to by Sharaj Ambulance Services and transported to hospital for further treatment.
Public Safety and towing services also responded.
One lane was closed until the scene was cleared, with passing motorists having to use the remaining lane.
Many people driving along that stretch of road stopped or slowed down to see what was going on.
The vehicles were towed away and the scene was cleared for traffic to flow smoothly once again.
