Estcourt detectives are investigating a case of murder after two men were killed at the Moorleigh Garage late last night (Thursday).

Police responded to a report of a shooting at the garage and when officers arrived on scene they found the lifeless body of a man on the veranda of the premises. According to police spokesperson Warrant Officer Basheer Khan the man sustained several gunshot wounds.

“Another man, who also sustained gunshot wounds, passed on a short while later,” he added.

One of the murdered men has since been identified as Gugulethu Mabaso (39). The motive for the double murder remains a mystery.
