Spar staff shocked by murder and suicide

Charlies SuperSpar management and staff are still reeling in shock following last night’s murder and suicide, which claimed the lives of two of their staff members.

Thulani Khumalo , a Breza security guard deployed at Spar, shot dead his girlfriend, Dudu, before turning the gun on himself.

Dudu worked as a cashier at Tops.

Both Thulani and Dudu were described as friendly and efficient by Manager, Maliga Pillay.

“Spar management and staff have been left in shock by this double tragedy,” Maliga said.

A case of murder and an inquest has been opened into the tragic events.
