Help Ladysmith police with fraud case

Anyone who may know of their whereabouts is urged to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant MZM Zwane

Ladysmith Detective Services are appealing to the community to help them solve a fraud case.

On  September 8 last year, a 46-year-old man from Bergville received a call stating that his Sim card had been duplicated and that the service provider wanted to rectify the problem. Therefore they had to activate a Sim swap.

The complainant contacted the service provider, who confirmed that there was no such thing. He later noticed that a transaction had gone through his bank account to the value of R6000.

Police are eager to interview the two individuals depicted in the attached photos, since they believe they may be in a position to provide valuable information about the fraud investigation.
