A body was recovered from Wagendrift Dam in Estcourt this afternoon (January 31).
The drowning victim was identified as a male believed to be in his 30s.
The man’s body was recovered within minutes by Ladysmith K9 Search & Rescue officers.
Sharaj Medical Rescue Services, police and K9 Search & Rescue PMB also responded to the scene.
