Mortuary van involved in Victoria Street collision

A mortuary van and a Renault Stepway collided on the corner of Victoria and Coronation Streets this afternoon.

According to eyewitnesses on scene, the mortuary van was coming down Victoria Street when it collided with the Stepway, which was attempting to turn down into Coronation Street.

There are no fatalities but a young boy in the Stepway suffered some injuries.

The extent of is injuries are unknown at this stage.

An ambulance has been called for to treat the youngster.
