Cyclone Dineo is currently a tropical storm, but will dissipate to a tropical depression within the next 12 hours.

The current speed at which it is moving shows that it is losing its intensity.

Mpumalanga will have to deal with heavy rain and possible localised flooding.

The cyclone might bring Ladysmith residents much-needed rain to help aid the current drought situation. Moderate to heavy winds are also expected.
