Kilian’s assailant out on bail
A member of Kilian's family expressed his concern that the man, who so viciously attacked his uncle, was walking free.

THE car guard who stabbed Justus Kilian (73) outside TWK in President Street on January 21 is believed to be out on bail.

Following the altercation that sparked an outrage in the community, Ward 9 Councillor, Alta de Kock, called a special meeting with the car guards and relevant municipal officials to find a way to regulate the activities of the car guards in Vryheid, in order to avoid further altercations of this nature.
A member of Kilian’s family expressed his concern that the man who so viciously attacked his uncle was walking free, after Justus Kilian, the victim of this crime, was hospitalised with multiple stab wounds following the harrowing ordeal.
