Good rainfall replenishes Ingula wetlands in Ladysmith

Currently, Ingula has more than enough water capacity to generate electricity for many hours

With so much rain falling over the country, Ingula was certainly no exception. Since the beginning of the year, more than 60mm of rain has fallen at Ingula, about half of the area’s annual rainfall.

It took a few weeks for the groundwater and wetlands to be replenished before water started showing on the surface.
