Breaking News: DA councillors hint at possible second victim killed to feed Estcourt cannibals

The DA understands that 4 accused of this crime are in custody and that they have pointed out the graves of a girl and male victim

The Democratic Alliance (DA), in a media statement, said that they have learned with horror of reports that a young girl and a male have been murdered and cannibalised. It is unthinkable that such a thing can be done to any human being and if it is true, the DA condemns this dastardly deed.

The DA understands that 4 accused of this crime are in custody and that they have pointed out the graves of a girl and male victim of this hateful crime. The accused are being held in Estcourt.

“The DA calls on the SAPS that the full force of the law is applied to ensure that justice is done without inordinate delays,” said Cllrs Sandile Ndlovu and LeRoy Gericke in a joint media statement. “We offer our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of the victims as they try to come to terms with this tragic loss of life.”

Police have confirmed that the Provincial Occult Related Crime Unit will be investigating the case.

The suspects have been named and they are: Nyanga Nino Mbatha (32), Lindokhule Masondo (32), Sthembiso Sithole (31) and Lungisani Magubane (30).

It has been reported that before Mbatha became an nyanga in Estcourt, he practiced as an nyanga in the Ladysmith KZN area.
