UPDATE: Divers resume search for drowning victim

The body of a man who drowned at Ntshingwayo Dam is still to be recovered.

The search is back on for a 34-year-old man who drowned at Ntshingwayo/ Chelmsford Dam yesterday afternoon.

Divers resumed the search this morning, after it was called off yesterday due to diminishing light.

The victim drowned after he went swimming.

Leon Oosthuizen and Johnny Heynie said they saw the man struggling in the water, and attempted to save him.

However, he went under before they reached him.
