Maria Ratchitz Mission benefits from ArcelorMittal and Majuba Rotary collaboration
According to Joe Nowbath of ArcelorMittal South Africa (AMSA), the institution was recently visited by members of Majuba Rotary and ArcelorMittal, who donated five brand-new wheelchairs as well as blankets to the mission.
Deep within the picturesque mountains on the outskirts of Washbank lies the Maria Ratchitz Mission, an institution established in the 1880s which has withstood the ravages of time.
It does so by continuing to serve humanity; by providing an AIDS hospice and a home for the terminally ill, among other functions.

According to Joe Nowbath of ArcelorMittal South Africa (AMSA), the institution was recently visited by members of Majuba Rotary and ArcelorMittal, who donated five brand-new wheelchairs as well as blankets to the mission.
Nowbath thanked Zultrans Transport for assisting with the transportation of the wheelchairs.
“AMSA and Majuba Rotary Club want to thank the mission for its work over the years. We felt honoured to have been in the presence of such an institution,” he concluded.
