
Following the discovery of a mutilated body in oSizweni yesterday morning (May 21), police have revealed the gory details surrounding the brutal and gruesome murder.
According to Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications and Liaison Officer, Captain Jabulani Ncube, the badly mutilated body of a man believed to be in his early 40’s was discovered by a shepherd in the Ntendeka mountains in oSizweni, at around 12.30pm.

The deceased’s body was missing his head, both hands, toes, and his chest and stomach was cut open.
“It was also discovered that his heart was taken from his body, as well as a lung.”
It was believed the murder occurred over the weekend, but the motive for the murder was still unknown, and no arrests had been made yet.
The victim has not been identified, and police are still appealing to members of the public to come forward with any information pertaining to the victim’s identity.

“The victim is believed to be in his early 40’s, Caucasian, with a tattoo of a flower on his right shoulder and another tattoo on his left arm.”
