Update: No arrests for ATM bombing that took place in Ladysmith

No arrests have been made by police in connection with the ATM bombing that took place in Ezakheni E-Section on Thursday, May 24.

Robbers blew up an ATM at a supermarket.

When the supermarket owner opened for business the next morning, he was shocked to see the ATM doors wide open and debris from the explosion scattered all over the place.

Forensic staff and police responded to the scene.

A Ladysmith Gazette journalist interviewed a few people living in the area and they said they didn’t hear anything out of the ordinary, and were shocked to see what had happened.

Police are still investigating.
