The 9mm pistol and ammunition recovered during a stop-and-search operation in Dutch location, Ntabamhlophe.

To curb the proliferation of unlicensed firearms in the country, police conduct regular operations to identify and seize weapons and ammunition.

Police officers from Ntabamhlophe set up a stop-and-search roadblock in the Dutch area. During their searches, a 39-year-old man came onto their radar.

After a search of the man, police recovered a 9mm pistol and ammunition.
