Two suspects were arrested for being in possession of drugs during a recent Intelligence Driven Operation in oSizweni.
oSizweni Crime Prevention, in conjunction with the Newcastle SAPS Cluster Task Team, were following up on information which led them to a homestead in Nyandeni Stand in Blaauwbosch.

Here, members recovered a pastic bag containing 0.122 kilograms dry-loose dagga.
They also recovered a matchbox containing one half Mandrax tablet and one whole Mandrax tablet.
A 25-year-old suspect was arrested and will appear in the Madadeni Magistrate’s Court soon.
A second suspect was arrested two days later, after oSizweni SAPS searched a house in oSizweni Section E.
They recovered another plastic bag, containing 0.040 kilograms of dry-loose dagga.
A 19-year-old suspect was arrested and will also appear in court soon.
All the drugs that were recovered were estimated to have a street value of approximately R950.
