Dannhauser SAPS arrested a 33-year male for the rape of two young women in the Emfundweni area, near Dannhauser.

Dannhauser SAPS Corporate Communications and Liaison Officer, Sergeant Mfanafuthi Nyembe, said:
“The two victims, accompanied by one of their boyfriend’s were travelling by foot when they were accosted by three suspects at around 11pm. The suspects forced the three people into their vehicle and drove off. A while later they stopped and assaulted the male victim, and left him next to the side of the road, before fleeing with the two female victims, who they then proceeded to rape.”
SAPS was informed, and one of the suspects was subsequently arrested.
He is expected to appear in the Dannhauser Magistrate’s Court soon.
