Another cold weekend predicted, with snow likely to fall on the Drakensberg in KZN

The front will make its move inland towards KZN and will hit on Friday night, going into Saturday

Get ready for some more cold weather in Ladysmith this coming weekend…

A strong frontal system is going to make landfall on Thursday morning (July 12) in the Eastern Cape and by lunchtime on Thursday, snow is expected to fall on the high peaks in the South Western Cape.

Snowfall is expected to be around 10-20cm on some of the peaks in the Cape.

The front will make its move inland towards KZN and will hit on Friday night, going into Saturday, with snow likely to fall in Lesotho, on the Eastern Cape Drakensberg and the KZN Drakensberg.

Snow could also fall on Sunday in KZN, so keep your fingers crossed that the weather stays on the predicted path and brings a ‘winter wonderland’ to the province.
