Bergville Chief back in court for 2017 crash

Four people were critically injured and treated at the scene

Chief Hlongwane from Bergville appeared in the Estcourt Regional Court last Tuesday regarding five people who were tragically killed in a head-on collision on the Bergville road.

The crash took place on September 4, 2017 when two light motor vehicles were involved in a collision.

Four people were critically injured and treated at the scene before being transported to hospital for further medical attention.

The suspect was summoned to court. The case has been postponed to August 1, which is set for trial.
