Update: Abandoned baby’s parents still not found

Detectives are still busy with the investigation regarding an 18-month-old baby that was abandoned near a tavern in Tsakane in June.

Officers from the Ladysmith Family Violence, Child Protection & Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit are appealing to the public to assist them in locating the parents.

The baby was found by a member of the community in the Umbulwane area of Tsakane, near Majaji Tavern, on Sunday, June 10.
