Watch: Fire breaks out in Pieters Industrial Area

A fire broke out in a building in the Pieters Industrial Area on Monday night (July 23).

One room containing books and papers was gutted in the blaze.

The Ladysmith Fire Department responded when the call came in.

When firefighters got to the scene, workers in the building had already extinguished the flames.

Later on that night, the fire started again.

The Ladysmith Fire Department went out again and this time it took them hours to tame the inferno and finally put out the fire.

No one was injured.
