Dannhauser SAPS investigate culpable homicide after farmer dies in collision

Dannhauser SAPS are investigating a case of culpable homicide, following the death of a well-known commercial farmer, Remember Mthethwa.

Sergeant Mfanafuthi Nyembe, Spokesperson for Dannhauser SAPS said Mthethwa (52) was driving along the Normandien road on August 1, at about 8.40am, when he collided with a Land Cruiser.

“Mthethwa was found entrapped in his bakkie, where he was then rescued by EMRS members, who tried tirelessly to stabilise him.”

Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The case remains subject to police investigations.
