A Dannhauser father has been arrested after he supposedly, repeatedly raped his 17-year-old daughter, between April 2017 to July 2018.

The victim alleged her father had been raping her every time she was sent there to collect money for mother.
Seargeant Mfanafuthi Nyembe, Spokesperson for Dannhauser SAPS said the girl’s mother started to notice a change in her daughters behaviour, and decided to address her about the situation.
“This is when she confessed to her mother about what her father had been doing to her, and that she was now pregnant as a result of the rape.”
The matter was reported to the SAPS, and handed over to the Newcastle FCS Unit, who arrested the 41-year-old father.
The case will now remain subject to further investigations.
