
Four suspects were arrested and a stolen calf recovered on Thursday (September 6) after Ekuvukeni Visible Policing officers received information concerning stock theft that had just occurred.
The officers rushed out to the area in question and intercepted a bakkie with four occupants and a calf on board.
When the suspects were questioned, they were unable to account for the calf and were all immediately arrested.

The suspects, aged between 20 and 27, were charged for being in possession of suspected stolen property.
They appeared in the Ekuvukeni Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
The calf is valued at about R7000.
The vehicle that was used to commit the crime has been impounded.
