Another palisade fence became the victim last night of a crash. The fence was smashed when a vehicle apparently went through it earlier this morning on Victoria Street, near the Tatham Street traffic circle.
The fence surrounds a creche. It is not clear at this stage if there were any injuries.
In another tragedy on Friday night, a pedestrian was run over and killed in Sibongile when the person was hit by a taxi. The authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.
