uThukela District Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) publicity secretary Comrade ZJ Mazibuko was gunned down last night (September 15) on the R103.
It is believed that he was on his way back to Ladysmith from an IFP meeting that took place in Estcourt when he was ambushed by unknown gunmen.
“At this stage, we hope that the SAPS will carry out their investigation very quickly and bring the assailants to book,” commented IFP councillor Abbas Warasally.
