In an exclusive interview, the manager of a tavern spoke about the horrific ordeal during which he was badly assaulted and robbed in Foxglove Avenue on Sunday evening (October 7).

Recalling what transpired on the day in question, the manager says he was working at the tavern when he was confronted by three unknown men who demanded cash. Fearing for his life, he co-operated and handed over an undisclosed amount of money.
Minutes later, the situation got out of hand, with the robbers launching a full-scale attack on the manager. He was stabbed, as well as being hit and kicked by the thugs. He was knocked unconscious during the beating.
Paramedics and police rushed to the scene.
5 people were treated and rushed to hospital.
