Focus on road safety and rank tidiness in Estcourt

The Health Department was present to conduct inspections and highlight the importance of a healthy lifestyle for all citizens and the taxi industry

October was declared Transport Month during the Transport Lekgotla in 2005.

During this month the importance of transport in the economy is highlighted, participation from the civil and business society is encouraged and provision of a safe and more affordable transport system is sought.

The Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality, under the uThukela District Municipality, kicked off on a high note.
First, the South African National Taxi Council (SANTACO) from national head office visited for a road show.

The Health Department was present to conduct inspections and highlight the importance of a healthy lifestyle for all citizens and the taxi industry.
