Winterton detectives are currently on the hunt for two brothers after an attack on an elderly woman (50).
Police are making an appeal to members of the community to assist in locating the two wanted suspects: Zweli Shabalala (35) and his brother, Meshangu Thomas Shabalala (26).
They are sought by police in a case of assault with intent to commit grievous bodily harm.
The incident took place in the Khethani area of Winterton on October 10.
The 50-year-old woman sustained severe injuries as a result of the attack.

The brothers are known to frequently visit the Emmaus area in Bergville, as well as the Ladysmith and Estcourt areas. Warrants for their arrest have now been issued by court.
