The Uthukela Cluster Commander recently held a multi-disciplinary roadblock on the N3 near Ladysmith.
The roadblock was conducted in the southbound lane at the Tugela Toll Plaza and was manned by officers from different specialised units from across the Cluster.
RTI officers were also involved, along with police.

59 vehicles and 79 people were searched during the operation.
Six people were fined for traffic-related violations.
