The murder and conspiracy to commit murder trial was meant to start in the Pietermaritzburg High Court yesterday but the defence needed more time to prepare

The three men accused of murdering Zanele Hlatshwayo (24) in a case that shocked the world, appeared in the Pietermaritzburg High Court yesterday.

Nino Mbatha, Lungisani Magubane and Khayelihle Lamula appeared before the court without their co-accused 31-year old Sithembiso Sithole.

He was found hanging in a cell at the Ladysmith Correctional Facility on July 22.
