A young lady (25) fought off two robbers yesterday afternoon (November 15) during a robbery at a shop near the Pick ‘n Pay Centre.
Two men entered the shop, bought cigarettes and then left.
The very same men came back a few minutes later, armed with a knife, and attacked the lady in the shop.
The suspects stabbed the woman twice and even tried to strangle her with a cable.
She managed to fight off the robbers with a taser she had.

One of the robbers grabbed the taser, but the lady managed to get hold of the knife and stabbed one of them.
Nothing was stolen and the men fled the scene on foot.
The injured woman was treated at the scene by emergency personnel before being taken to hospital.
Police also responded to the scene.
Police are currently investigating a case of business robbery and attempted murder.
