How to get your pets into the festive mood
Even your furry friends can get into the Christmas spirit

“Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree, you’ll never survive a cat or three…”
Christmas is here and every child is bursting with excitement as they witness their gifts piling up under the tree.
However, if you’re a pet lover then you probably consider them to be your children too, right?
So why not spoil them this Christmas with their very own special Christmas treats?
Here is a guide to getting your furry friend into the Christmas spirit:
1. Buy them some new toys:
Most animals love toys. Get them new balls, rubber squeaky ducks or whatever else they enjoy playing with, and watch them have hours of fun.
2. A delicious food treat:
Spend a little more cash and buy your four-legged baby a fancy treat. Whether it’s a box of biscuits or a can of tuna, they will appreciate the spoils.
3. A cute Christmas outfit:
If you enjoy dressing up your pets, and they don’t hate clothes, get them an adorable little Christmas jumper and watch how they parade around the house looking like Santa’s little helper.
4. Bake them their own Christmas cake:
The internet is full of recipes catering to cats and dogs. Find one that suits your budget and watch how they react when you present them with their own cake for Christmas.
5. Make it special and wrap up their gifts:
Animals love destroying things, especially if it’s paper, so wrap up their gifts and put them under the tree. Then on Christmas Day, you can help them unwrap their gifts and watch the excitement build.
