Police came under attack this morning (February 4) in Peacetown after a woman’s body was found.
The lifeless body was discovered by members of the community.
Police arrived at the scene only to be greeted by disgruntled residents who started hitting their vehicles and throwing bottles at the SAPS vans.

It is believed that the woman went missing on Saturday (February 2) and was found dead today.
The cause of death is unknown at this stage.
A large crowd of angry community members gathered at the scene while police conducted their investigation.
