A teenager has run away after leaving a goodbye note for his parents.

The Newcastle FCS Unit is seeking the assistance of the community after a 16 year old boy has allegedly run away.

Wikus Vorster was last seen by his parents last night (February 5), at around 9pm.

“His parents woke up this morning to find that Wikus was missing. A note saying he loved them was left behind,” says Commander Captain Nagesh Moothilal.

“He does not have a cellphone and did not take any clothes or his bicycle with him,” continues Capt Moothilal.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the boy can contact Captain Moothilal on 082 554 5867.
