Security officers arrest suspected business robber

The officers found a TV, laptop and speakers in the ceiling

National Security officers Albert Maphalala and Phumlani Memela made an heroic arrest during the early hours of Thursday morning, February 7, after they responded to a robbery.

Speaking to Albert and Phumlani, they say that at around 5am they received an ‘activation’ from a shop in Lyell Street. The officers responded swiftly to the scene and on arrival, they heard noises coming from inside the shop.

They quickly called the key holder so they could get into the premises.

Once inside, they found a TV, laptop and speakers in the ceiling.
