Two suspects were detained following an attempted farm attack just outside Newcastle last night.
This was confirmed by Newcastle 911’s Mornè Potgieter.
He accompanied members of the SAPS K9 Unit last night to follow up on leads and information as to the suspects’ whereabouts.
This led to the arrest of both men.
However, Potgieter also confirmed the suspects were released from police custody pending further investigations by police authorities.
