Video: Roaring engines and burning rubber at Dundee Drags

Racers from all over the country were there to show their mettle on the track

Endumeni Motorsport Club held yet another successful 1/4 mile drag racing event on Sunday (March 31).

Heavy mist in the morning didn’t dampen anyone’s enthusiasm, with racers and spectators turning up in large numbers for the Dundee Drags.

Participants from all over the country were there to show their mettle on the track, with hundreds of cars and bikes clocking excellent times on the day.

Motor vehicle enthusiasts both young and old braved the sun as it beat mercilessly down on the tarmac, and were not disappointed with the spectacle of speed and adrenaline that unfolded before their eyes.

Metal machines and burning rubber was the order of the day.

For full story and more photos of the action, see this week’s edition of the Ladysmith Gazette, which will hit the streets on Thursday morning (April 4).
