IFP duo and alleged hit man to hear pre-trial in Estcourt

The three men have endured another postponement and will be appearing in the Estcourt Regional Court

On February 12 yet another postponement was announced to the three men accused with conspiracy to commit murder.

Former Endumeni Local Municipality Mayor, Richard Mbatha, Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) Councillor Mthembeni Majola, and alleged hit man, Xolani Makhathini made a short appearance in the Estcourt Regional Court that morning.

No new developments had been made in the case.

Next Tuesday as the case resumes, the trio will be represented by Advocate Kay Augustine.

They are set to appear for the pre-trial to be heard. The men were charged with conspiracy to commit murder following an arrest made by the Hawks on allegations of a murder plot during last year May.
