The farmer reported that while busy in the dairy, milking cows along with four employees, a blue VW Polo arrived with four males.

“They requested to buy milk and she told them that they don’t sell milk to the public. They then drove out of the farm and returned a short while later,” explained KwaZulu-Natal South African Police Services spokesperson, Captain Nqobile Gwala.

Upon the suspects’ return, it’s been reported that they entered the farm and assaulted the farmer. She was beaten, strangled and tied up.

The woman was taken to hospital for medical attention.  Her cell phone, wedding ring and car keys were stolen by the men.

The car keys were recovered a short distance away from the farm.  Mooi River police are investigating a case of robbery.
